Safe Landing Financial helps individuals and households planning for retirement on their terms in Los Angeles, CA and virtually nationwide. Here is our four-step process to help you make an informed decision about working together.

STEP 1

SCHEDULE 30-MINUTE INTRO MEETING

Scheduling a 30-minute intro meeting allows for us to ensure we are the right fit to provide expert planning guidance to achieve your financial goals. There is no cost for this intro meeting.

STEP 2

UNDERSTANDING YOUR UNIQUE SITUATION

Before meeting, we request information to learn more about your unique situation. We focus our financial planning conversation on what’s most important to you.

To help you make an informed decision, we share our process for how we help to minimize taxes, optimize investments, and ensure your money lasts through retirement.

STEP 3

PROVIDING TRANSPARENT SOLUTIONS

We share exactly how we can work together and what to expect from working together.

We offer full transparency in providing our costs and what’s included with our services.

We provide details for how we can add value to help you minimize taxes, optimize investments, and ensure your money lasts through retirement.

We value long-term relationships and do not want a quick sale.

STEP 4

THINK ABOUT IT!

We want you to understand the value we can bring to your unique situation before deciding how to best move forward.

We do not offer any time-sensitive expiring deals or pressure you to move forward with us. Take as much time as you need to decide how to best move forward.

If you determine that we are not a good fit to work together, then we will wish you the best and help you find financial solutions that fit your needs better.

Q1: How much does it cost to work together?

A: Please see our fee calculator below.

Q2: Do you offer an hourly or one-time project option?

A: We value providing ongoing financial planning to individuals and households over a long-term relationship. Implementation and organization are important considerations when measuring the success of your financial plan.

If you are looking for a financial planner with these fee options, please contact us and we will help you find a better fit.

Q3: What’s so important about working with an advisor that’s fee-only, fiduciary, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™?

A: A fee-only financial advisor must act in a fiduciary standard for their clients which means that they must always act in your best interest. The majority of advisors in the financial services industry act in a suitability standard which is based on your financial status and goals but may not always be in your best interest.

Fee-only financial advisors receive the fee for services provided and do not take part in any additional commissions from brokerage firms, mutual fund companies or insurance providers. They have no additional incentives for any form of managed account.

Nearly 9 in 10 consumers say they would feel more confident working with an advisor who holds a financial planning designation. The CFP® certification is recognized as the highest standard in personal financial planning. CFP® professionals are required to have a college degree, complete advanced classes in financial planning, pass a six hour comprehensive exam have at least three years of full-time financial planning experience and agree to the CFP Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics.

Q4: Can I cancel?

A: Yes.

You can cancel at any time if you decide that we are not the right fit. You are never locked in to any long-term contract. We request for you to provide us with written notice and we will work together to find an amicable solution to move forward.

Payments and cancellations are handled at the end of each month. There are no hidden fees or additional cancellation costs.

We recommend working together through at least one market cycle before making a decision to part ways. Financial planning advice and tracking investment performance during a full market cycle is the best way to confirm we are keeping you on track to reach your financial goals.

Q5: Who is a good fit to work with Safe Landing Financial?

A: Here are some characteristics of the clients that we work best with:

  • We provide our expertise to professionals with advanced planning needs such as stock compensation and deferred compensation, planning cashflows and budgeting, managing around concentrated positions, and saving intentionally and aggressively for retirement on your terms.

    • You are looking for expert financial advice and ready to implement our recommendations.
Q6: Who is not a good fit to work with Safe Landing Financial?

A: We might not be a good fit working together if:

  • You believe you can consistently beat the market.
  • You want a hot stock pick of the day.
  • You’d rather spend time focusing on short-term market returns without looking at the big picture.
  • You do not implement our expert advice.

No matter if your goal is to minimize taxes or optimize investments, or ensure you won’t run out of money during retirement, we are positive our expertise can give you better financial peace of mind.
